Aromas of dark berries, cherries, vanilla pod, spices and petals preface the 2022 Vosne-Romanée Village, a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy wine with supple tannins and a suave, charming profile.

The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Village, picked September 5 to 10, comes from several parcels, including declassified Premier Crus. The aromatics offer red cherries, boysenberry and a touch of menthol. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit. There are quite bold tannins, perhaps needing to muster more precision on the finish to rank amongst the best Vosne Villages. Give it a couple of years in bottle.
