92-94 ST

(from a 1959 planting in the lieu-dit Clos de la Roche): Medium red. Sexy perfume of raspberry, rose petal and truffley underbrush. Utterly silky and seamless in the mouth but not yet expressing itself; not a powerhouse but boasts lovely intensity to its lightly saline flavors of raspberry, cherry and dried rose. This tactile, suavely tannic wine is all about finesse today, but time in bottle should bring more weight.
