Tasting Notes and Scores
Bright medium red. Pure, ripe aromas of raspberry and brown spices. Delivers sappy sweetness and lovely spicy lift to its red berry flavors. This intense, nicely delineated village wine really echoes on the firm, persistent finish.

The 2015 Morey-Saint-Denis Villages from Domaine Dujac is an excellent rendition of this cuvée, which wafts from the glass with aromas of sweet red berries, cinnamon, warm spices and rose petal. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, ample and quite lavish, structured around fine-grained, satiny tannins and good acids, its finish sapid and long. For now, this Morey remains open and expressive.

The 2015 Morey-Saint-Denis Village, matured in around 35% new oak, has a clean, fresh, quite minerally bouquet with cool wet limestone scents percolating through the black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, vivid and crunchy blackberry and bilberry fruit, with a structured and brisk, verging on brittle-textured finish.

Not racked. Meaty and lively and dense. Really structured and with good beginning, middle and end. (JR)
