The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Village, raised in 20% to 30% new oak, has a cohesive bouquet, focused and delineated. It is not complex yet has attractive black cherry and light boysenberry fruit. The medium-bodied palate has fine tannins and plenty of energy with a bright, sorbet-fresh finish that lingers in the mouth.
