Bright, deep red. Sexy, distinctively wild nose combines black raspberry, violet and game, all lifted by a peppery topnote. Then broad, sweet and thick in the mouth; in fact, a bit coarse in texture today compared to the stylish Estournelles Saint-Jacques. Seriously tannic and backward in the context of this collection.
