Tasting Notes and Scores

91.5 ST

Bright, dark red. Initially impenetrable nose offers piquant hints of raspberry, pepper, minerals, game and blood orange as the wine opens in the glass. Excellent texture and depth cut by racy acidity. Still youthfully restrained but the wine's tannic spine and persistent perfume suggest that it will reward patience. There's something a bit reminscent of Musigny here.
