Tasting Notes and Scores

92-94 WI

(from a crop level of 28. 5 hectoliters per hectare, according to Duband): Bright, dark red. Subtle, airy aromas of dark berries, rose petal and licorice. Spicy, firm-edged and tight; leaner and more imploded than the Charmes-Chambertin but already shows superb intensity and inner-mouth aromatic lift. Most impressive today on the rising, suavely tannic finish, which tickles the taste buds with raspberry and rose petal perfume. A very classy grand cru.
