Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2018 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a slightly more resinous bouquet, a little Germanic in style, hints of wax resin percolating through the dried honey fruit. The palate is well balanced with quite a sharp entry, what feels like a lower pH than its peers. Full of tension, though I would have liked more weight and girth on the finish. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting.
