Tasting Notes and Scores
Here the nose exhibits a distinct step up in elegance compared to the other wines in the range with its cool and admirably pure red pinot, dark currant, floral and exuberant spiciness that are trimmed in a discreet application of wood. There is good vibrancy and excellent delineation to the highly seductive flavors that deliver very fine length on the silk and velvet-textured finale. This is not super complex at present but the underlying material is such that more will almost certainly develop over time and my predicted range offers the benefit of the doubt in this regard.

Very dark crimson. Very sweet start. Lots of fun here. Not world-changing but it is awfully good. Lots of depth and vivacity. Long. (JR)
