Tasting Notes and Scores
Light yellow. Ineffable aromas of lime leaf, white flowers, menthol and powdered stone. Silky and sweet but with lovely citrus lift to its crushed stone and mineral flavors. A juicy rather than thick 2015 with strong but harmonious acidity. Finishes saline and classically dry, with a light touch.

The 2015 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru les Vergers was mute on the nose when I tasted it from barrel, clearly not coming out to play. The palate is balanced with a lightly honeyed entry, moderate depth but needing to show a little more nervosité towards the finish. Probably best enjoyed earlier rather than later unlike some of the other Chassagnes from the domaine. I would like to see more terroir expression develop.

Attractively oaky on the nose. Rich and full in the mouth, with clean, tangy freshness. Bold and long, deep and intense. Relatively GV . (JH)

Neat and ripe with good structure. Herbal richness. But not sweet. Appetising. (JR)
