The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeots 1er Cru has a light but focused nose, airy with touches of petrichor coming through. The palate is balanced with a slightly waxy entry, decent depth and a touch of lemongrass towards the finish; it just misses the tension of other recent vintages.
