Tasting Notes and Scores

90-92 ST

(finished its malo three weeks before my visit) Good full red. Slightly reduced aromas of cherry, raspberry and smoked meat lifted by rose petal high notes. Sweet, lively and concentrated, with lovely intensity of fruit and a compellingly sappy character. Finishes long and aromatic, with excellent verve. (The Combe aux Moines still had too much unconverted malic acidity to assess with confidence.)
