The 2021 Marsannay Clos du Roy marries the natural tension of the year with good depth. Dark red cherry/plum fruit, spice, leather, smoke and blood orange all meld together. Give this year or two to soften. It’s a very promising wine from Galeyrand. - Antonio Galloni
