Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2022 Chablis Vaudécorse comes from an almost hectare-sized parcel planted back to 1980. It has a pretty, quite airy bouquet with crustacea and light estuarine scents. The palate is vibrant on the entry with good substance and tension. Sapid with a lemon rind twist on the finish, this has appealing linearity and perhaps even more persistence than the Vaulcaire. Excellent. Drinking Window: 2025-2036.

Fresh mid lemon yellow. There is a lightly rubbery note to an otherwise elegant bouquet. Yellow fruit but full of agrumes, a biting lemon zest, quite a surge of fruit, less precision than Vauclaire but fills the mouth more. Blood orange even. Drink from 2026-2030. Tasted Jul 2023.
