Tasting Notes and Scores

Good ruby-red. Slightly inky aroma of red- and blackcurrant, plum, licorice and bitter chocolate. Muscular and thick, but fresh acidity gives the flavors excellent clarity and a distinctly penetrating quality. Dense but juicy. Finishes with firm tannins that coat the sides of the tongue. This powerful and impressive wine will require a good decade of aging.
