Cloves, assorted candied black fruits, and red cherries can be discerned in its complex flavor profile, and it appears this wine is holding loads of fruit in reserve. Dee p red. Perfumed, vibrant aromas of black raspberry, blackberry, minerals, violet and graphite. Very young and initially closed owing to its exhilarating acidity, but showed explosive fruit and minerality as it opened in the glass. Ultimately round, ripe and glyceral, with a palate-caressing texture; there's nothing brutal about this grand cru. Impressively slow-building finish features suave tannins and terrific vinosity and length. This should be very long-lived but really should be forgotten for the next decade.

Fresh floral notes and an intense spiciness introduce very ripe, astonishingly complex flavors that display layer upon layer of depth and superb intensity. This is the best wine in the cellar today with mouth coating and palate staining extract and this is very classy juice. Harmonious and pure with incredible elegance for such a powerful wine that this should be capable of 30+ years of cellar potential. Superb quality here.
