Tasting Notes and Scores

92-94 WK

There are three barrels of the 2017 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Brûlées, a dramatic wine that bursts from the glass with aromas of peonies, burning embers, orange rind, sweet red plums, Asian spices and wild blueberries. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, ample and satiny, with an enveloping, almost unctuous profile that's typical Brûlées, concluding with a long, succulent finish.
