The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis Les Millandes 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet: a mixture of red and black fruit, a hint of sous-bois and truffle, quite classic in style. The palate is medium-bodied with fine structure, grippy and saline, fresh and vibrant, with a lovely sense of balance and poise on the finish. This is a classy offering. Bravo. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
