Tasting Notes and Scores
Good, bright medium red. Complex, aromatic nose combines dark raspberry, singed orange, smoke, flowers and spicy oak. Creamy and rich in the mouth, with an almost velvety texture and a restrained sweetness to the musky flavors of red berries and pungent smoky minerality. Still a bit tight but finishes with noteworthy persistence.

Darker and purer aromas. Fresher, brighter fruit and much better balance of fruit and tannin than the other wines from this producer tasted at the same time. (JH)
