Tasting Notes and Scores

90.5 ST

Bright dark red. Bitter cherry, Worcestershire sauce, milk chocolate, dried rose, iron and spicy oak on the nose. Silky and layered, but also juicy and sharply focused. The acids currently have the upper hand, giving this wine a youthful austerity. Very long, subtle finish features dusty tannins. Needs patience, but then this wine is typically quite unevolved upon release.
