The 2021 Auxey-Duresses Les Hautés Blanc, from 85-year-old vines that suffered no botrytis, has a finely-tuned, minerally bouquet with impressive focus. Lovely purity here. The palate is well balanced with a pure entry, slightly honeyed in texture with a discrete spiciness and excellent focus with a tangy, orange rind and white pepper-tinged finish that lingers. Don’t ignore this cuvée.
