There are seven barrels of the 2020 Meursault 1er Cru Charmes, the finest wine I've tasted to date from this young producer. Wafting from the glass with notes of crisp Anjou pear, lemon oil, tangerine, white flowers, wheat toast and nutmeg, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, with a layered, muscular profile and a long, precise finish.
