Tasting Notes and Scores
A fresh, citrusy and cool nose presents notes of pear, green apple and roasted nut nuances. There is fine punch and solid detail to the attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess both fine depth and length at this level. Recommended.

The 2013 Meursault Villages has an appealing bouquet with straightforward apple blossom and citrus aromas. The palate is well balanced with impressive weight in the mouth, a keen thread of acidity and pleasant, orange zest and hazelnut notes on the rather conservative finish. Satisfactory if not remarkable.

Young vines. Shared Clos des Baronnes with Roulot but vinified separately. Bit of lactone character. Rich and yet very tight on the end. A bit brutal and unsubtle. (JR)
