The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Les Chaumes 1er Cru comes from 0.56-hectares of vine. Again, this is light and airy on the nose, with faint red cherry and strawberry fruit that needs more terroir expression. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, tart red cherry and redcurrant, with a touch of citrus notes, though it comes a bit generic on the finish. Early-drinking.
