The 2019 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru has a clean, precise bouquet that delivers palpable energy and gains complexity in the glass, evoking memories of clambering over cockles in my seaside hometown, a briny tang in the air. The palate is very well balanced with a sapid entry, lovely weight in the mouth and hints of sour lemon on the finish that get the saliva flowing... again! The 2019 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with aromas of pear, peach, white flowers and fresh bread. Medium to full-bodied, layered and multidimensional, it's textural and enveloping, with an ample, elegantly layered core, lively acids and a long, saline finish.
