The 2022 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru comes from two parcels at either end of the vineyard. It has a strict flint- and crushed stone-scented nose that's very minerally and uncompromising. The palate is fresh, vibrant and beautifully balanced on the entry with just the right amount of acidity. It has wonderful sapidity and tension on the finish with a dab of ginger on the aftertaste. This is outstanding.

The 2022 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly is a beauty, bursting with aromas of pear, peach, white flowers and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, ample and enveloping, it's cool and vibrant, with a pure core of fruit, lively acids and a mineral finish. As I've written before, it unites the aromatic expression and textural attack characteristic of its sunny exposition with the tension and cut appropriate to this high-altitude, stony site.
