Tasting Notes and Scores
While compositionally similar this is even more aromatically complex and refined than the Pucelles. This is bigger and richer but not finer with excellent volume and intensity to the middle weight flavors that also conclude in a wonderfully well-balanced finish that delivers terrific persistence. It will be interesting to see if the Pucelles can catch the Bienvenues in 2012 because at this very early phase the two wines are neck and neck qualitatively speaking. Tasted: June 2014
