Tasting Notes and Scores

Good bright, full red. Aromas of cherry, spices and fresh herbs project more fruit ripeness than the 2008. Densely packed, thick and sweet but sappy and quite tasty, showing plenty of early personality-and more than my early tasting from barrel would have suggested. This has the sweetness to support its serious tannins but nonetheless should be held for at least a few years.
