The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes 1er Cru, from a parcel that the domaine bought in 2020, has a clean and precise bouquet with quite mineral-driven red fruit, though it doesn't quite "take off" in the glass like Méo's best cuvées. The palate is medium-bodied and a little powdery in texture, with grainy tannins, fine depth and a savory element toward the finish. Enjoy this over the next decade.
