Good full red. Knockout highly nuanced nose combines smoky red fruits, flint, spices and white pepper. Silky, elegant and seamless but at the same time juicy and delineated. This highly concentrated wine boasts outstanding inner-mouth perfume. Really spreads out on the back to saturate the palate, offering a wonderful combination of ripeness and freshness. A superb Echezeaux in the making.

The 2009 Echézeaux flows across the palate with layers of gracious, elegant fruit. It is a supremely silky wine with plenty of intensity but no heaviness whatsoever. This is classy and refined all the way. Méo's parcel is in Le Rouge du Bas.
