Tasting Notes and Scores

94 NM

Perchance the first great vintage under Frédéric Mugnier? The 1993 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru has an upfront bouquet with incense, dark fruit, candied orange peel and sous-bois . There's fine definition, with oyster shell hints that emerge with time. The palate is a lattice of fine tannins, fresh with a discrete build towards a sapid and precise finish. This is a joy from start to finish. Tasted at the Les Amoureuses vertical at Hide restaurant.
