An airy cool, pure and elegant red pinot fruit nose also reflects hints of spice and wet stone. The lacy medium-bodied flavors possess a strikingly refined mouth feel as the tannins here are also dense but quite fine. There is a lovely sense of balance to the harmonious and impeccably well-balanced finish. Blind this could easily pass for a fine Chambolle though the best examples of Les Petits Vougeots can often do that. Drink: 2018+

Bright medium red. Aromas of redcurrant, black cherry and leather. Supple and easygoing, with spicy, ripe berry flavors complicated by saline and leathery notes. Finishes with serious, dusty tannins.
