Barrel sample. Les Valozières, La Maréchaude. Pebbles and clay. They took on these vines in 2016 just in time for the frost… Lots of sweet woody spice, a little like incense, exotic and generous in aroma. Ripe black fruit, generous and almost like cassis. Generous and ripe on the palate, too, light tannins and with a sweet fresh aftertaste. (JH)
