Tasting Notes and Scores

Pacalet has been making this for more than 15 years. Ruchottes translates as ‘small rock’. Pine forests and juniper above it. Smells wild – tiny red berries and wild herbs. Scented like the Burgundy equivalent of garrique. Smells of the forest. Highly aromatic and as yet untamed. Juicy and silky but lots of energy. Juicy and so full of wild life. (JH)
