Tasting Notes and Scores

92-94 NM

The 2021 Volnay Champans 1er Cru has a little more detail and mineralité on the nose compared directly with the Santenots, the fruit slightly more red than black. The palate is medium-bodied with very supple tannins, fleshier in style with more Pinoté towards the elegant finish. This is a lovely Volnay in the making.
