Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Clos Saint-Jean 1er Cru has one of the most backward bouquets from Thierry Pillot: crushed stone and light flinty scents, later hints of yellow flowers. The palate is well-balanced with fine tannins. It’s a little richer than the Champ Gain with a stern, focused, intense finish with marvelous sapidity. Superb.
