The 2018 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru has a fresh, quite mineral-driven bouquet with wild peach, blackcurrant leaf and a discrete Muscat aroma that becomes almost overwhelming in the glass. Tank sample. Intense, ripe citrus but cedary too. Rich, chewy, well balanced and powerful with very good freshness and persistence. (JH)
