Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2017 Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru feels a little ferrous and rustic, perhaps outclassed by some of the superior Volnays from La Pousse d’Or at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, finally showing the class of a Grand Cru with ripe, spicy black fruit towards the finish. Maybe it just needs a little more terroir expression but if the aromatics improve this should drink well over the next 15 years.
