The 2020 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru has a well-defined nose with scents of dried honey, apple blossom, melon and light gravelly scents. The palate is balanced with fine depth and harmony, though I find this needs more complexity and mineralité on what feels like a straightlaced finish. Hopefully, it will offer more in bottle.
