Best today on the firm, rising, aromatic finish, which displays a dusty, positive bitterness and lingering notes of pear, crushed stone and minerals. This is 12.3% natural alcohol; Colin told me he only chaptalized in 2016 when the fruit came in below 12%.

Rich and quite open on the nose, then more spice and salinity/minerality on the palate. More volume in the mouth than in Les Ancegnières, more power and drive but still pulls in to a long finish with just a gentle creaminess to the texture to clothe the arrow-like freshness.
