This offers a nose that is classic Blanchot with its elegant and ultra-pure array of white flower, pear, mineral reduction and ocean breeze scents. There is simply terrific intensity to the especially rich and mouth coating flavors that brim with dry extract before culminating in a driving yet refined finish of impeccably good balance. Note that this moderately austere effort is even more saline than I typically find it. Drink 2022+.

Layers of rich, expressive fruit resonate off the palate as the 2011 Chablis Blanchot emerges from the glass. A picture-perfect example of the vintage, the Blanchot is super-expressive, even at this early stage. Citrus, honey and spice nuances flesh out in an expansive, generous Chablis that will drink well with minimum cellaring.
