Tasting Notes and Scores
Not surprisingly this offers a big step up in aromatic complexity with its fresh and cool nose of citrus, white peach and soft floral scents. There is plenty of underlying tension to the precise, intense and mineral-inflected flavors that possess good balance and much better depth and length. This understated effort should amply reward 5 to 7 years of cellar time. Drink 2017+. - October 2013
Allen Meadows
The 2011 Chablis Foret bursts from the glass with heady, tropical-inflected fruit, which is so unusual here. Tangerine, honey, wild flowers, herbs and nectarines are all woven into the textured, voluptuous finish. The 2011 will drink well pretty much right out of the gate, so there is no reason to delay gratification.
