Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2015 Meursault À Mon Plaisir Clos du Haut Tesson is showing very well from bottle, unfurling in the glass with aromas of waxy citrus rind, Anjou pear, beeswax and iodine, framed by a light touch of leesy reduction. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with a broad, textural attack that segues into a tense, structured mid-palate, concluding with a long finish. While this may not be Jean-Marc Roulot's favorite kind of vintage, he has produced a superbly balanced wine that is built for the cellar.

The 2015 Meursault Le Tesson was unfined when I tasted the barrel sample at the domaine. It has a strict bouquet of granite, a touch of dried honey and dried quince, a little more generous after ten minutes in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with crisp acidity, hints of orange pith and grapefruit, leading to a lovely, lively finish with a twist of sour lemon. This is excellent.
