Beautifully rendered and now mostly mature fruit that offers exquisite detail and a refined yet earthy character is followed by fine, relatively rich and intense flavors that culminate in a wonderfully long finish where the '96 style acidity is prominent enough to notice but not to dominate. For my taste, while this could be drunk now with reasonable pleasure, I will cellar my remaining bottles for another 4 to 5 years first because at that time this should be approaching its peak. Note however that this has the balance and acid backbone to live for another 25 years. Multiple and consistent notes. Try from 2014+.
