(these vines border Puligny-Montrachet just below Batard-Montrachet): Bright greenish-yellow. Aromas of pear, lime and white flowers. Juicy and spicy on the palate, with a slightly peppery quality to the pear fruit. Boasts decent volume and intensity but finishes a tad bitter. From deep, compact clay soil.
