Tasting Notes and Scores

Two parcels of 45- and 55-year-old vines walled off within the premier cru. Cask sample. Mid ruby. Not a huge nose to speak of. Red cherries and strawberry. There is a floral note that keeps this quite light on its feet, but it is all quite subdued. The powdery tannins get amplified a little on the finish. (MH)
