The 2020 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, matured in 100% new oak and de-stemmed, offers a mixture of red and black fruit on the nose with a touch of mint. The palate is well-balanced with a spicy opening, fine grip, taut and fresh with a delineated and fresh finish. This is a sophisticated and beautifully-crafted Charmes-Chambertin from Marchand-Tawse. Excellent.
