Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2014 Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru is an absolute peach. Vivacious red plum and raspberry fruit come to the fore, exuding the Domaine's upfront, fruit-driven style. But peek underneath, and you find complexity and terroir expression that will become more prominent as it glides into its secondary phase. The palate mirrors the aromatics: more fruit-driven than its peers, with just a touch of undergrowth and black truffle, nicely defined towards the finish. You could drink this now, though I would prefer to wait.

Rich and spicy nose with very polished tannins on the palate. For a grand cru this is VGV . Lift and freshness. Depth and spice too. Well done! (JR)
