Tasting Notes and Scores

90-92 AM

A brooding and altogether reticent nose of dark berry fruit, earth and pungent humus notes gives way to rich, concentrated and sleekly muscular flavors that possess fine delineation and punch on the firm, long and overtly austere finish. This is significantly more structured than the prior 1ers and will need at least 5 or 6 years to flesh out and 10 to 12 to shed its considerable tannins.
