The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Etelois has a lovely bouquet, more cohesive and purer than the Vieilles Vignes, perfumed red cherries and wild strawberry laced with wet limestone. The medium-bodied palate is fresh and quite forward with light tannins. It’s a little fleshier towards the finish with an appreciable "bite.” Give this a couple of years in bottle.
